Walkie Talkie

Written by Michael Sheridan on .

A walkie talkie indicates you are clairaudient. Clairaudience is a gift where you literally hear messages from the spirit world. Mostly the messages are heard as lines from songs popping into your head. The segment of the song will repeat over and over making you wonder why you cannot get it out of your head. Once you accept it is a message it immediately changes to a line from another song or stops if it is the end of the message. It can also work through hearing lines from movies.

Wall

Written by Michael Sheridan on .

Walls represent keeping people out of your heart. This is usually due to some early childhood conditioning. In regression I have noticed that this wall is usually fully built by the age three. As a child we cannot reason and live through expressing our feelings as we experience them. We are also highly tuned into the feelings of those charged with our care. Being in a position where you feel you are in the way or unloved starts this process off. The first two years are spent in emotional confusion and then the wall building starts.

To bang your head off a wall is a warning of stroke. It signifies this as walls are a common symbol for the heart and circulatory system and the dream is coupling it with damage to the head. Stroke is a circulatory problem that damages your head.

A dividing wall is also about your heart with the emphasis being on how you separate yourself from others. You have erected a dividing wall between you and your neighbor – literally you and others who are close to you.

Glass walls represent a strong psychic or intuitive ability. Literally you have the ability to see when all others can see is the wall. We do not all see it as glass.

Kitchen or bathroom walls indicate the lining of your intestines. If the paper or plaster is falling off the walls it indicates the lining of your intestines is damaged.

Dirty walls indicate that your colon needs cleansing. Toxins from your colon are getting into your blood stream.

Wallet

Written by Michael Sheridan on .

A wallet, because it usually contains money, represents sharing and therefore your heart. When you take out your wallet to pay for something you give money and get something in return. This give and take represents sharing of feelings.

To dream of a wallet stolen means that you do not normally share your feelings and your sense is that it is pointless. Your thinking is along the lines of it does not matter what I give I’ll get nothing back in return. This is almost certainly due to some past conditioning where you feel this happened. Do people know the real you or only what you choose to show on the surface?

A waste bin indicates your elimination system. If the waste bin is full of a particular food item, the dream is asking you to eliminate it from your diet or to seriously cut it down.

Watch

Written by Michael Sheridan on .

A watch is a symbol of your heart and circulatory system. You are literally being asked to watch yourself. If the watch is worn in an unusual place, such as your leg, it indicates that you have the potential to develop a circulatory problem there. A watch symbolizes this as it is a miniature clock. The connection is between ticking and the English slang usage of ticker to mean the heart.

Water

Written by Michael Sheridan on .

Water can symbolize your spiritual side or life itself. It can assume the shape of anything into which it is placed. How the water is depicted in the dream says something about your spiritual side. Our spiritual side is quite often the most neglected aspect of our nature. Spirituality is expression of the soul and not to be confused with religion. Expression of the soul connects you with life and is your true essence. What gives you expression? Is it writing, poetry, playing musical instruments, dancing, teaching, helping others, etc? Do you know what it is and if you do, have you created space for it in your life?

Rain is about letting life in, and being caught in the rain in a dream is very positive. What the rain is hitting can be significant. For example, rain falling onto a car engine asks you to let life into your heart.

A river has a natural flow and has carved out its own path over time. This dream is asking you to be like a river and allow your spirituality to flow freely in the direction it must take.

A lake is a large body of water with no outlet. You are being asked to create an outlet for your spirituality. It is deeper than you think.

A canal is a flow of water whose path is controlled by manmade structures. This indicates that your spirituality is limited by conventional or manmade ideals.

The sea is the ultimate body of water. This dream can be about life or your spiritual life. Other symbols in the dream will refine the subject matter.

Shallow water indicates that despite what you may think, you still have room to deepen your spiritual side.

Watching others jump into water is a request to jump into life or develop your spiritual gifts.

A swimming pool is a body of water contained by four sides. This indicates that you limit your spiritual expression or flow of life.

Polluted water symbolizes toxins in your blood stream. These dreams will usually indicate what foods or drinks are causing the toxins to get there. You are being asked to cut them down or cut them out altogether.

Water running down the walls or leaking from the ceiling of a house or building is indicative of your body being dehydrated. This is common, particularly if you were drinking alcohol the night before.

Soapy water asks you to cleanse something. For example, washing red meat in the sink asks you to cleanse red meat from your diet.

Soapy water hitting your back is a request to cleanse something from your past. Deal with it and let it go.

Wave

Written by Michael Sheridan on .

Waves usually indicate difficulties in life. For example, sailing a boat that is getting knocked by waves. The boat trip represents your life journey and the waves are symbolic of events or emotions that are causing ups and downs in your life.

If a boat with two men in it is getting knocked into a cliff by the waves, it means that an event involving your father (men) when you were age two (two men) in your past (behind you), knocked you to the extent that you began rationalizing (cliff) everything in life (water).

Weddings represent uniting male and female aspects of yourself and also commonly indicate you are a channel – you can communicate with spirits.

Weeds

Written by Michael Sheridan on .

Weeds indicate a progressive health illness, such as cancer.

Whale

Written by Michael Sheridan on .

A whale symbolizes channeling in a dream. A channel is someone who can communicate directly with spirits and Angels. Whales mean this because they are mammals, as are humans, but they live in the ocean. In dreams the ocean represents spirituality, so here we have an air breathing mammal that has adapted enough to travel into the spirit world. The type of whale involved is not important, although it is almost always killer whales that show up in dreams. In this context, the killer portion of the name shows the fear the dreamer has with regard to talking with the dead. Also their strong black and white color would indicate a difficulty the dreamer has with regard to accepting spiritual communication. In essence they must overcome their black and white attitude that tells them things are either good or evil. When you have this attitude it is difficult to open your mind to something new. This could be due to religious doctrine.

Wheel

Written by Michael Sheridan on .

Wheels represent your heart due to their circular shape. Here circular is a pun on circulation system where the wheel’s circular movement symbolizes your blood circulating around your body.

Wheel lug nuts indicate your lymph system. Lug nuts keep the wheel safely on the car. The lymph system drains the bloodstream to keep you safe.

A big wheel or Ferris wheel can also symbolize your heart but is also likely to be about being caught on a karmic cycle. This is where you have failed to repay your karmic debts in a previous life and have the potential to miss the opportunities presented to you in this life also.

Wheelchair

Written by Michael Sheridan on .

A wheelchair indicates you repress your feelings. Literally when it comes to expression of feelings (wheel) you are handicapped.

White

Written by Michael Sheridan on .

White symbolizes hope, faith, purity, perfection, confidence and enlightenment.

To dream of white alone can indicate you strive for perfection to such an extent that you are rarely impressed with your own efforts as it is almost impossible to reach the exceptionally high standard you set for yourself. For example, if you were to begin oil painting you would be overly critical of your first attempts because they are not good enough to hang in a museum. White in this context indicates a proud, rigid, judgmental immaturity - a should be, controlling attitude. While you are hard on yourself you are also hard on others, as it is unlikely they will reach your standard either. Dreams point this out in an effort to get you to realize your controlling nature so that you become easier on yourself. Do not start by trying to be easier on others, as when you slip at this, you will be even more critical of yourself because you did not reach that goal on your first attempt either! When you ease up on yourself and become more tolerant, that will eventually spill over onto others and they will benefit. The dream invariably shows you where this part of your nature began.

White mixed or associated with other colors purifies and refines their meaning. To dream of navy with white is an attempt to heal your negative philosophy of life (navy) by giving you faith and confidence in the future.

The soft white or pearl white associated with a crystal ball indicates the gift of prophesy. This is not a very common gift so look for other symbols to confirm this.

Wielding

Written by Michael Sheridan on .

Wielding indicates a strong male approach to life or the subject matter of the dream. You act without listening to your heart. You need to restore the balance between male and female aspects of yourself. Female energy allows you to forgive, listen, have two-way communication, lead and more.

Wig

Written by Michael Sheridan on .

A wig indicates someone is pretending they think a certain way with regard to the subject matter of the dream.

A blonde wig indicates a sham. Someone who pretends to have purity of thought but in reality has ulterior motives.

Window

Written by Michael Sheridan on .

Windowsgive you a view from a house and as such can represent your eyes, your viewpoint or your outlook in a dream.

The room the window is in, or where it looks out to is significant. For example a bedroom window can represent outlook on your sexual identity. A kitchen window can represent your general outlook, if that is the room you normally sit in with a close friend when they visit, and you share a cup of tea or coffee. A window looking out to the front of the house can be about your outlook on the future. A window looking out to the back of the house or back garden can be your outlook on the past. A narrow window looking onto the back garden indicates you have a narrow view on the past or a restricted outlook due to your past. These dreams ask you to improve your view as a way of dealing with the other issues in the dream. Do not just choose to see what you want. Life will be better if you can let go of this.

Unusually large windows on a house indicate you are psychic / intuitive.

A bay window, particularly if it is in your mother’s house, represents the womb. Houses represent the body and here you are symbolically in a location in your mother’s body (her house) which extends out to the front – the womb. The dream is showing you how you are still affected today by something from far back in the past. Because these dreams are about being born they often include symbols that indicate something precious you brought with you on this life journey. It is something that, for you, gives expression of your soul and connects you to life.

If a dream refers to a room or vehicle with no windows it is again about being in the womb. The smallest place you have ever been with no view of the world. An elevator is a good example.

Wiring

Written by Michael Sheridan on .

Wiring indicates your nervous system.

Woman

Written by Michael Sheridan on .

A woman in your dreams can represent a number of things. She can represent the woman herself, your mother, your female side - emotions, a guide, a healing agent or an aspect of yourself. If the woman is helpful and supportive she is a healing agent. She is called a healing agent because her purpose is to heal issues with the parent of the same gender - mother. She heals this symbolically by acting the opposite way to how mother was in reality. To indicate an issue at a specific age you may dream of a number of women behind you. For example, to dream of three women behind you indicates you picked up issues from your mother at age 3.

If the woman has a title, speaks with authority or offers a gift she is a guide / angel. Guides often take up a position in front of you just to your right or slightly elevated. A guide is the only infallible character in a dream. They commonly demonstrate their purpose by action rather than speaking. However, if they do speak always heed their advice.

If the woman is someone you know but do not have a direct relationship with, it is often to show you that you have the same trait that they are displaying in the dream or that they have in reality. For example, if the trait is confidence, the dream is attempting to boost your confidence with regard to the subject matter of the dream. It could also be a negative trait. If the person is always angry, it shows that you too have this trait and you are being asked to acknowledge it and eliminate it.

If the woman is your partner the dream is about your relationship and it is likely that all other events and symbols in the dream are a comment on it.

It is very common for a woman to stand in for your mother. In this case, like earlier, she is likely to be either healing an issue with your mother, or to demonstrate a trait that you picked up by copying her or due to your relationships with her. Usually the dream is asking you to eliminate this trait, as it is affecting you negatively with regard to the subject matter of the dream.

Women can also represent expression of feelings as your heart is governed by female energy. In fact difficulty with emotional expression is often connected to issues with your mother as it is through her unconditional love that you learn to love yourself and stay in touch with your heart. If this was lacking from your mother it will show up in your dreams. If mother put a price on her love you may dream of a woman sitting at a cash register.

A dead woman indicates that you are emotionally dead or cold. The dream is showing you this so that you may work on the issue and breathe new life into your heart.

A woman can also represent your female side. If you are having sex with a woman in a dream you are being asked to get intimately in touch with your female side. This is regardless of your gender. Your female side governs your philosophy of life, inner world, feelings, compassion and various spiritual abilities. If any of these are lacking, your dreams will encourage you to discover that aspect of yourself.
