Paintings represent ideals. For example, a painting of a man up high on a wall would indicate your ideal man.

Parades are a celebration of identity and in dreams signify you need to establish your identity. What is unique about you?

To dream of your parent signifies that you are carrying the influence of that parent. While your parents may influence you in many positive ways – dreams only focus on changes you need to make. The likelihood is that the parent in the dream is influencing you in a negative way with regard to the subject matter of the dream. This may not be obvious to you.

A park symbolizes your heart, circulatory system and emotions as green is the color of the heart chakra.

An amusement park is healing for depression or a request to enjoy yourself. It symbolically tries to put a sense of fun and amusement back into your heart.

A parking ticket tells you that now is the time for action – set goals and pursue them.

Charles Stewart Parnell, the uncrowned king of Ireland, symbolizes conflict between love and career. In the last years of his life, Parnell could not choose between the two and trying to keep both became his last struggle.

To dream of your partner means the dream is primarily about the nature of your relationship. The rest of the symbols in the dream will expand on the theme. Walking or driving down a dead end street, for instance, shows that the relationship is going nowhere. Sitting in a parked car can mean the same thing.

Sleeping at opposite ends of the bed indicates that you and your partner are polar opposites – your heads are pointing in different directions. Consequently, there will be a lot of conflict in your relationship. A dream of moving to Belfast would indicate the same thing unless you are from there or have reason to move there.

Dreaming of your partner driving while you are in the back seat, shows that you are not treated equally in the relationship – your place is in the back.

To dream of your partner dying, is indicative of being in a relationship that you do not want to lose. While it seems dramatic, the dream is trying to show you how much your partner means to you. Perhaps you have recently slipped into taking your partner for granted. This is a common dream when you find yourself in a relationship that feels like true love, particularly when it follows a bad relationship. The most common theme is your partner dying in a car crash.

To dream of your partner dying or leaving you stranded can also be about a previous relationship, including the foundation of all male relationships, the one with your father. If your father has died recently or his death is still heavy in your heart, then it is natural enough to have dreams where you face this happening again with another man you love. It is not a premonition that they will die.

Any party in a dream symbolizes your birth – the event to be most celebrated in your life. It does not matter if it is someone else’s party in the dream.

Passing is sometimes a pun on death, as in my mother passed away. In dreams it will usually refer to the passing of someone close to you. It normally shows up with words such as, “the heating pipe burst and a woman passed.” Note the missing preposition from the dreamer’s words. We would normally say, “passed by”. This is the most common way it is recorded when passing refers to a person passing into spirit. In the example given, the dream was reminding the dreamer of their mother’s death due to a heart / circulatory condition. The rest of the dream explained why it was important to look at this now.

Peach symbolizes Empathy. Empathy is the trademark of a skilled counselor. If a guide wears or brings peach it means that you have the potential to be a counselor. It is common to have other gifts that complement your counseling ability. For example, to dream of peach lamp shades means your intuition (lamp) helps you when counseling.

Pearls are synonymous with wisdom and as such signify that you have an inner wisdom and a counseling ability.

The color pearl white also signifies this in a dream.

To dream of a writing pen symbolizes that you have a gift for writing. This dream is asking you to create space in your life for writing.

A fountain pen indicates the same thing. In this case a fountain is a source, so a fountain pen implies that you are a creative writing source – an inspired writer.

A pen enclosure indicates suppression of feelings. You do not let your feelings out.

A play pen indicates the uterus – a place for a child to develop.

To dream of a pen shop or any shop that specializes in writing implements means you are obliged to develop your writing ability. To receive penalty points for speeding or other driving violation signifies that something you are doing is incurring karma. Since driving has to do with pursuit of goals, are you pushing your responsibilities onto someone else while you chase your goals or are you blocking someone from pursuing their goals?

A phone can symbolize communication. For example, if you dream about your partner, and there is a telephone in the dream, it is about communication with your partner. The location of the phone can also be significant. For example, a dream of a broken phonein the bedroom means you need to work on sexual communication with your partner.

A phone can also indicate you are telepathic. Telepathy is where you can read other peoples’ minds. If you have this ability you already know it. 

A photocopier reproduces copies of an original and as such symbolizes your reproductive system. Commonly, the copier is located in the bedroom to reinforce its symbolism.

A photograph asks you to be objective about the subject matter of the dream. Step back and look at the present moment rather than everything that lead up to it.

A piano, like any musical instrument, symbolizes that you are a channel / medium. You can communicate with spirits.

A pier in a dream usually has to do with your spiritual side as it is beside water. To dream of plaster falling off the walls indicates you have the condition candida albicans or another condition that is affecting the walls of your digestive system or colon.

Plastic is man made and indicates something unnatural.

Plastic wrapping often indicates a man made obstacle to spiritual understanding. Literally the spiritual goal you are trying to reach is obscured by conventional views. Discarding plastic wrapping indicates you are clearing through this.

A plate can symbolize an ideal or goal. Any circle in a dream can indicate this, as circles have no beginning and no end, so are symbolic of the divine. For example, to dream of hitting someone on the head with a plate in a shopping mall, warns you of the need to be responsible (shopping mall) when it comes to pushing your ideals (plate) onto others.

A dirty plate indicates you need to cleanse your colon.

A plate of food shown in a negative way indicates food items you need to cut down or cut out of your diet.

To dream of a poet or writer means you have a creative writing ability and you are being asked to use this in your life as a means of connecting with your inner core. Police are guides / angels in a dream. Their presence is a reminder that your guides are aware of everything you do and are there waiting to be asked to help.

If a police officer is giving you a ticket it means you are failing in your obligations or life purpose in some way. For instance a ticket for drink driving means you are being told that drinking alcohol is affecting the pursuit of your goals. A parking ticket is telling you that now is the time for action – set goals and pursue them.

Politicians represent your guides / guardian angels in a dream. Quite often guides demonstrate to you the way you are in reality. Guides are infallible and incorruptible. So if you dream of a corrupt politician it does not mean one of your guides had gone renegade – rather you have corrupted your life purpose. Your guides are aware of it and are asking you to correct the situation.

A pond often indicates your bladder, particularly a small back garden pond with a water feature. Sludge at the bottom of the pond indicates the state of your colon and that toxins are seeping from your colon into your blood stream.

The game of pool is about pursuit of goals in the game of life. Anything spherical in a dream represents goals.

A post office indicates you have an ability to communicate with spirits. The old term for this is medium but it is now referred to as being a channel.  A channel receives messages from spirits and Angels and passes them on to their intended recipients. A post office is the perfect symbol for this as its purpose is to receive messages and pass them on to their intended recipient.

A poster signifies strong intellect, absent healer, projector and hypnotist. See flying.

Projecting your mind onto others can be used to good and bad effect. It is very useful in marketing, sales and teaching. Be careful not to think badly of others, as your negative thoughts can have a negative effect on them. Whether you believe in karma or not you will bring it on yourself for doing this.

Hypnosis is achieved by the practitioner projecting their mind onto their subject. This is regardless of other tools the hypnotist may use to distract their subject. It is their mental projection onto the mind of the subject that makes it work.

A postman is a guide in a dream and whatever ability a guide has you have too. A postman’s job is to deliver messages to people and so symbolizes channeling. You have the ability to receive messages from the spirit world and pass them on to people.

A potted plant symbolizes your reproductive system as this is where the seeds for new life are sown, cared for, loved and nourished to maturity. As such they symbolize children and pregnancy in dreams. For example, to dream of a potted sunflower on the table tells you that there is likely a son (sun flower) in your future (on the table).

A power plant means you are a hands-on healer. This is one of the types of healing attributed to Jesus in the bible. Like the power plant you have a source of power within you. This power can be channeled into others by placing your hands on them and letting the energy flow.

Pregnancy in a dream, whether yours or someone else’s, does not foretell you will become pregnant. Rather, it indicates that a new and positive aspect of you is developing. Other symbols in the dream will indicate what this is. These dreams normally happen when you are consciously trying to change or opening your mind to something new.

To dream of the president or leader of a country means you are a spiritual leader. Spiritual leaders lead through empowering others to tackle their own challenges. This gift works through our female side so quite often, either the leader is a woman or the leader’s wife is introduced in the dream.

The price you are asked to pay for something is indicative of the energy you are being asked to commit to the subject matter of the dream. The tag can also indicate the direction in which this will take your life. For example a six in the price indicates a move towards dharma. Seven indicates it is part of your spiritual path. Prison symbolizes your heart and emotions. Specifically it means that you suppress your feelings. You keep your heart in a cage so that others cannot get close to you. Protecting yourself in a dream is pointing out that the effect of some negative situation is causing you to protect yourself. This protection comes at a price, and the dream is asking you to deal with whatever caused you to be this way. For example, a dream where you are crouching down protecting your three year old son, says that you are protecting your inner child from an event that happened at age 3. Mauve indicates endurance.

Indigo is the color of the brow chakra. This chakra is often depicted as the third eye and in dreams indicates you are psychic.

In a healing context purple brings spiritual peace, heals insomnia, tumors of the brain and calms highly-strung, excitable people.
