Develop Your Psychic Abilitites

The following articles were writen as part of the Dream Interpretation series. I include these exercises in my courses as it puts into sharp focus the fact that there is more to life than the physical world, particularly so with the exercise of how to see spirits and angels. They are also directly applicable to people whose dreams include the relevant symbols.

HOW TO SEE THE HUMAN AURA

Techniques for seeing the aura alone are described later but it is best to do this with a group of 6 or more people. Choose a room that has a plain white or pastel colour wall. Dim the lights and wait until your eyes have adjusted. Have one person, the subject, stand still against the wall with their eyes closed so as not to distract the focus of the viewers (see picture 1). The viewers should stand or sit in front of the subject at a distance of about 6 feet. Glasses do not need to be removed by anyone.

HOW TO FEEL THE HUMAN AURA WITH YOUR HANDS

The Aura is an electromagnetic energy field that surrounds us. I used to laugh at that idea. How could anybody believe something so ridiculous? Simple! Using the correct technique the aura is easily visible. Although my courses are about Dream Interpretation I started showing people how to see and feel the aura to overcome their skepticism when I'd get to discussing the spiritual dimension of dreams. This article focuses on feeling it. I always enjoy this part of the course because it is something that works for everyone. People get totally charged at the magic and simplicity of it. HOW TO FEEL THE PRESENCE OF YOUR GUIDES

This week I want to show you how to feel the presence of your guides. This is very easy to do and you only need to give yourself 10 minutes for the exercise. As with many of these exercises this one is much easier to do in a group but will work on your own. The advantage of a group is you can compare what you are feeling. Once one person makes the connection they can describe it to others in the group. Here’s what to do.

THE AURA & CHAKRAS

Everything in the Spirit world comes down to energy. All work with the Spirit world, whether it is channeling or healing is through energy. At this point in the series this idea should not sound so strange. The Aura, which we learned to see here and feel here, is an energy field. Through scanning this energy field healers detect imperfections that reflect physical or emotional problems in their client. Through channeling energy into their client’s body they can restore the balance so the body can heal itself.

HANDS ON / SPIRITUAL HEALING

You would be hard pressed to find anybody who has not heard of hands-on or spiritual healing. While I have to admit that this method of healing sounds ridiculous it is extremely effective. There are many types of hands-on healing. Popular forms these days include Reiki and Bio-energy. The healing I describe here, however, is completely controlled by spirit. The therapist channels healing energy into their client but does not focus the energy with an intention. Their focus is simply on being an open channel for the healing energy. Spirit uses the energy channeled to heal the client in an appropriate way.

SIMPLE COMMUNICATION WITH YOUR GUIDES

Full dialogue with my guides was always the ultimate goal for me. I wanted clear, concise communication that left no room for mistakes. Many of the development exercises I have covered are precursors to this goal. This particular technique, while not full dialogue, is another step on that path. It lets you receive simple yes and no answers from your guides to precisely phrased questions. It will work well in advance of full dialogue and teaches you to focus properly on the questions you ask them.

COLOR BREATHING

This is a beautiful and simple exercise which takes only a few minutes, has immediate effect, and has many practical applications. Refer to the Color Healing Chart reprinted below to see the effect each color has. If, for example, you are feeling run down and want to pick yourself up you would use red because it energizes you. Here's how the technique works. You can do this with your eyes open if need be but I prefer to do it sitting down with my eyes closed.

PROTECTING YOUR AURA

Your aura is controlled by how you feel. If you are fearful or feeling depressed your aura becomes quite small and can be hard to see. If you are feeling very positive your aura expands to a great size, becomes full of light and is very easy to see.
